How to use the Culture deck



Weekly challenge
Give your team a weekly challenge outside of your session to demonstrate their favourite value. Have each team member select a value that they would like to demonstrate for the week. Have them explain how they demonstrated their value outside of your team environment.

In between sessions
Challenge your team in between sessions with one of the green challenge cards. This will help them link team values, skills and character elements with the rest of their lives.

Doorway Affirmation
Have your team members select a purple affirmation card that they relate to the most. Find a doorway and as each team member walks through the doorway have them yell the affirmation load. As a leader/Coach give your team members a high five once they yell their affirmation. You may have to do this 2-3 times before your team members get enough confidence to be load enough.

Use the Purple Affirmation cards to give affirmations to your teammates
Have your group stand in a circle and have each one of your teammates select an affirmation card that when the "I" is replaced with "You" would describe the person to their left. One at a time have each member of your team tell the affirmation to their teammate out loud so the rest of the team can hear and give an example of how they demonstrate that affirmation. Ex. Lay the purple cards out and have each member of your team/group select an affirmation that resounds with them the most. Have them reflect, say it out loud to themselves and then out to each other. Then have them say it 3-5 times louder and louder to the point of saying it outloud with confidence.
